The 457 LRP(Long Range Precision) is designed for accurately shooting at long ranges. It features a 20″ Fluted Heavy Varmint Barrel and uses the same Match chamber found on the MTR. The muzzle uses a threaded muzzle(1/2×28) for optional suppressed use. The LRP’s stock uses a soft-touch finish with a prominent pistol grip, extended forend and hooked rear end designed for cradling with the shooter’s support hand. A 25 MOA weaver rail allows for scope mounting and the built-in incline offers add elevation.
The new 457 series now feature a push safety, adjustable trigger and 60 degree bolt rotation, allowing for larger ocular bell diameters with lower rings. The stamped bottom metal is now replaced with a classy 2-piece interlocking system. Additionally the 457 series utilizes the same swappable barrel system and magazines from the 455.
